Participant Institutions

SPARK NTD is built upon a global network of academic, research, clinical, and public health institutions committed to advancing solutions for neglected tropical diseases.

Our Network

Building a Global Innovation Network

A key objective of SPARK NTD is to strengthen translational research capacity and foster sustainable collaborations across regions where NTDs remain a major public health challenge. SPARK NTD works with partners in Europe, the Americas, Africa and Asia.

Partnership Types

How Institutions Participate

Academic Partners

Universities and research institutes contribute scientific discoveries, translational expertise, and educational resources. Each partner provides access to their network to deliver training and support, and where relevant, access to discovery and development platforms.

Clinical & Public Health Partners

Clinical research centers and national disease control programs provide critical expertise in implementation and evaluation, ensuring that SPARK NTD projects remain aligned with real-world health system needs.

International Organizations

SPARK NTD collaborates with organizations working to advance NTD control, elimination, and eradication worldwide, connecting projects to relevant local and international funding agencies and investors.

Industry & PDP Partners

Industry partners and product development partnerships contribute expertise in product development, manufacturing, regulatory strategy, and market access, and can offer NTD-specific resources such as compound libraries and screening platforms.
