SPARK introductory video
How frustrated can one get to know that a new diagnostic, drug or therapy has been developed in an academic or startup biotech company but this take years to get to who needed most? To shorten the time of medical discoveries to patients is the main objective of SPARK and SPARK NTD!
Our Vision & Mission
SPARK NTD vision is to create a world where neglected diseases have proper diagnostics, treatment and vaccines. Our mission is to provide benefit from research collaborations, access to the best possible support so scientists and industry develop their own ventures and fulfill their impact goals.
- Research collaborations Access to deal flow to collaboration partners for grants, co-development or also service offering e.g. screening, efficacy models, toxicology etc. This includes with industry partners
- Entrepreneurial support Project from partner received better support than would be possible only with in-house resources including educational and project management platforms.
- Impact alignment Most academic groups have a bench to bedside model or tech transfer goal.
- Lasting impac we strive to build a community of translational scientists without border, who collaborate closely with academic, business, industrial and foundations.
